Al joined Rowles & Company, LLP in 2007. He performs internal audits and compliance audits of banks, thrifts, and credit unions. Al also participates in financial statement audit services.
Al is a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified TG-3 Auditor qualified to conduct Security Compliance Reviews for members of ATM networks.
Al has managed teams performing accounting, financial, and internal audit services in public accounting and in the financial services and manufacturing industries. His experience includes consolidated financial reporting, SEC reporting, monthly and year-end closings, profitability analysis, and business consulting for operational and process improvements.
Al is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and The Institute of Internal Auditors . He is active in the Carroll County Chapter of Relay for Life. He is treasurer of the Sons of the The Son’s of the American Legion, Squadron 200 in Hampstead.
Al and his wife are the parents of three adult children. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.
