Steven D. Halpern, CPA

Steve Halpern is a partner in the firm.  His responsibilities include audits of commercial banks, thrifts, and employee benefit plans.

Steve graduated from the University of Delaware in 1989, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Managers Society. 

Steve has served as a discussion leader for continuing professional education seminars sponsored by Rowles & Company for its professional staff.  Topics include accounting and reporting issues affecting savings institutions. 

Steve has served as President of the Maryland Chapter of the Financial Managers Society.  He has also served on the board of directors of the Federal Hill South Neighborhood Association.
